The handle is processed to be resistant to water and have the beautiful grain of wood. Water buffalo horn used for the ferrule.

*So that it doesn't rust,​ wash well with cold or hot water after using,​ properly wipe off moisture with a dry cloth and store.
*Please use a knife suitable for your cutting purposes. When cutting frozen food,​ bones and tough food such as pumpkin,​ the blade may chip,​ crack or break,​ so use a special knife to do so.

*Daily care is required. Sakai knives are forged with steel and are knives that require daily care.
*Maintenance by sharpening is required. Using many times will cause the sharpness to deteriorate and you will not be able to cut. It is recommended that you sharpen regularly.
*Regarding Storing: Cleanly wash off any soiling on the knife, remove moisture and store.
